CubicCabin ("we", "us") operates the website cubiccabin.org. This policy explains what information we do and do not collect when you use our construction and home-improvement calculators. We have tried to keep it short and in plain English.

Your files stay on your device

Every calculator runs entirely in your browser with plain JavaScript. The dimensions and values you enter are computed locally on your device and are never sent to or stored on a server. We never receive, see, copy, or store the files or values you work with. There is no upload step, no processing queue on our servers, and nothing for us to retain. When you close the tab, that data is gone.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information through the site. The only data collected is the limited, aggregated, and non-identifying information described below, gathered through third-party services.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which calculators are popular and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics collects aggregated, anonymized data such as page views, session length, browser type, and general geographic region (country/city level). It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling tracking protection in your browser.

Advertising and cookies

This site is supported by advertising. We work with the following ad partners, who may set their own cookies and collect ad-impression and click data under their own privacy policies:

• Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also review how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps at google.com/policies/technology/ads.
• Adsterra. Adsterra may set cookies and collect impression and click data per its own privacy policy.

These partners do not receive any personally identifiable information from us. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can use any standard ad-blocker — the site remains fully functional without ads.

Some pages link to outside websites (for example, format specifications or reference material). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; this policy covers only cubiccabin.org.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
